Life Legacy
Brett R. Hayes, 46 of West Eighth Ave., Gloversville died Wednesday June 8, 2010 at home following a long illness. He was born in Little Falls, NY on August 15, 1963. The son of the late; Donald Hayes and Barbara Wright. He was a graduate of Oppenheim Ephratah High School and also received a degree in Automotive Technology. He was employed as a Truck Driver for Green Trucking Inc. in Amsterdam.
He was a member of the Forresters Club of Gloversville, the APA Pool Players Association and he loved motorcycles and driving his trucks.
On May 9, 1998 he married Nina Dingman.
Survivors include his wife; Nina Hayes of Gloversville, his son; Donald Hayes II of Gloversville, four daughters; Alisa Hayes, Ashley Hayes, Dakota Stephens and Stepeny Hayes all of Gloversville. Two brothers; Donald Hayes of Rome, NY and David Hayes of San Francisco, CA. One sister; Gail Hayes of Salisbury Center, NY. Two grandchildren; Athena Hayes of Galway and Olivia Stockwell of Lake Luzerne. Several nieces and nephews also survive him.
A memorial gathering will be held at the Forresters Club on June 26, 2010 from 11 am to 4 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to the family to help offset expenses, C/O Nina Hayes, 13 W. Eighth Ave. , Gloversville , NY 12078 .
